    Arima 840 DI With DDR3 1333

    Any of you guys know for a fact that the DDR3 1333mhz ram is compatible with this rig? :rolleyes:

    their is no point in getting higher clocked memory, since the cpu has only a 1066Mhz fsb. Since the processors fsb is 1066Mhz, no matter how fast of memory you buy, the fastest it will ever run is 1066Mhz unless you somehow overclock it.

    Well thats my point exactly, i do plan on some overclocking. I just wanted to know if it was physically compatible, I know some BIOSs dont support higher clocked ram. And i had a look at this thread, and all others concerning this laptop, the real information about it is very scarce.

    if any of the arima 840 resellers are selling it with the faster 1333Mhz ddr3 memory, than it most likely works. I dont have any answers, cause I do not own the system. You may want to email justin@xotic pc he might be able to help. I think that is his nbr forum name.
