    Arrandales and 1333 MHz RAM

    Compatible? Sager's site says 1333 are only compatible with 720QM and 820QM ... But would it be compatible also with let's say an i5 or i7-620M?

    It will work, but the RAM will run at 1066.

    Even if it ran at 1333MHz, there would be no real life performance difference if you had the same amount of memory, but as stated above, the memory will downclock to 1066MHz as that is the maximum supported speed for the mobile dual core i series.

    It is only compatible with the quad-core chips. On the rest, it will be downclocked to 1066MHz. You can find this info on Intel's spec sheets online for each processor model.

    You'll likely see no real-world performance difference between equal amounts of any speed DDR1 and DDR3, so it doesn't really matter.

    arrandales cant utilize 1333. However the ram modules would still work but only at 1066

    even in the i7 its hardly used.. unless ur overclocking which u can't do with i7-620m , then its useless.. just in name IMO if u buy it.
