    I was wondering how hot this thing on your laptop?

    mine is on the way here but I am just curious to know.

    Depends on the laptop. My X9000 idles around 30c and under load it is around 77c @ 3.6GHz/1.3375V

    Hi, I'll be using it on my sony. currently with p8700 it is really cool. only around 30 celcius...


    if I change with x9100, how high will it go?

    A lot of this is going to depend on the specific chip you get and the specific cooling in your notebook model. We can't really give you a concrete answer. What's the model number?
