    Aspire 3003 DVD Removal

    Just got a DVD burner to replace the DVD/CDRW. I can't figure out how to remove the old burner? I feel like I'm going to break it by tugging on it, no visible screws either. Suggestions please! Thanks.

    I think there is a screw hidden at the back of the drive which can only be accessed by removing the keyboard.

    Yes there is one screw hiden under the keyboard. Refer to THIS THREAD for some dissasembly info.

    Replaced the DVD/CDRW combo in my 3002 aspire with a pioneer DVR k06 last night, the linked thread was a godsend.
