    Aspire 3050 upgrade Turion x2 Tl 60 with problem

    Hi there!

    I have a biiig problem.
    I upgraded my acer 3050. I bought a Turion x2 tl60 and i replaced the old sempron. I used the arctic silver 5. Its worked fine, but 1 day later my laptop just shut down and work with just battery. The adapter worked fine with other acer 3050, but with this one, not. And a now upgraded the bios, but doesnt work. I bought before a power board, 'couse the stick is broken, when my laptop falled from the table. So i replaced it. And its have a new battery from ebay.
    Can anyone help me?

    Welcome to the forums!

    You might have a bad DC jack if the laptop is only running on battery. If the system is not having intermittent shut downs or beep codes, etc., then the CPU you upgraded is probably fine. Does the battery charge with the adapter at least?
