    Hi guys.

I'm getting an Acer Aspire 3623 WXCi with a Celeron M 370 processor to use as an secondary laptop. The computer comes pre-equipped with only 256 MB of RAM and I'd like to add another 256-512 MB.

What kind of RAM should I get? I guess it's DDR2 SO-DIMM (200 pin), but what else do I need to worry about? CAS Latency? I guess 400 Mhz is the minimum, but will 533 MHz RAM also work together with the already installed RAM?

Sure, I could just get Acer's own memory upgrade, but that's quite expensive in comparison to generic RAM.

    Thanks,
    q

lf its DDR2, then buy a stick of 512mb DDR2 533 for about $40 from newegg. You don't have to worry about CAS either.
