The screen has been replaced as the previous one was cracked. I bought one off ebay which was supposed to be compatible with my model the Aspire 6930z but now the brightness buttons do the opposite, so they have no been reversed.

Also if i plug the charger in and switch on the backlight doesnt come on at all. I have to turn laptop on without the charger to get the backlight to turn on then i can plug in the charger. But the brightness is still reversed, im thinking the inverter and panel are not compatible.

Any suggestions anyone?? All wires are in correct i have taken it out and put it back twice just to be sure but cant figure out whats up?
