    Hiya
a friend of mine has an Acer Aspire 9410-4541. He bought it last year and now its really outdated to run good games. He remembers being told that he could upgrade his video card from 128 mb to 400 something.

But dunno how to get that done???

Does he has to buy a new graphic card or something?? Or do we just go to some computer store and ask him to increase the video ram or something???

and one mor thing. Any way to get hold of the vista copy that came installed on his lappy?? Cause we install other copy and we cant find the right drivers for the lappy.

    Please help.

You won't be able to upgrade the graphics card in that notebook. Having more video memory also doesn't necessary mean you're getting a better performing card too. Also, it's impossible to "add" more memory to your existing graphics card. It seems like what ever the sales guy told you was a lie and he/she just wanted to make a sale to your friend.
As for your last question, as long as it's Vista, it doesn't matter which CD is came from (unless you installed a 64bit Vista). Drivers should be available online and can be downloaded from the Acer website

If your friend still wants to upgrade his graphics card, his only option is really to just buy a new laptop.

Actually you can increase the memory of your graphics card, The geforce 7300 can be configured through software to use anywhere from 128mb to 512mb of memory.

Usually you can configure this through the Bios or through the nvidia drivers.
Keep in mind that adding more memory to the graphics card, decreases the amount of memory available to the rest of the system.
Their should be an option somewhere in the Bios where you can configure the Vram of the graphics card. Simply set it to a higher value.
Giving the onboard graphics more memory does increase graphics performance, but the amount it increases it is very small, and your friend will most likely not be able to play the video games he/she wants to play on it.
