    I just found out that if you upgrade your Asus G1-S to 4 Gb RAM, you need to upgrade the OS to Vista 64Bit, or the system will only read 3 Gb. :eek:

    Lynn Bay upgrades the RAM to 4 Gb as an option, but doesn't get the option to upgrade to a 64 bit OS. Shady. :mad:

    I wonder if the Dell Inspiron 1520 is the same when you upgrade it to 4Gb Ram :cool:

    Everything is that way for 4 GB of RAM, the 32-bit system can only use 3.2-3.5 GB of it.

    Question, What is the main differences between the 32bit and the 64 bit OS other than the fact that the latter supports the 4 GB's of RAm
