    Hi,
I wanted to buy a 120 gb SSD for my G53SX laptop, which has an extra hard drive bay, and had a couple questions.
First off, I wanted to know if my laptop would even be compatible with a SSD drive. If it is what is the best one I can get(as in speed, reliability...)?

Price is not really an issue, as long as its not too ridiculous.

    Thanks

There is no "Asus g53 SSD", short of all 2.5" SATA SSDs. They are all compatible with a standard notebook SATA slot and HDD bay.

I guess you didn't notice the dedicated SSD subsection?

there I'm sure you will find this same information again along with lots of recommendations.
