So I have an Asus K55N. I can get a a10 for about $100 aswell as sell my A8 for same price, question is, is the cpu soldered? Looked around abit and through the manual and no luck. If anyone knows thatd be great. Also, can i upgrade the wireless card? Thanks guys

I don't remember seeing any BGA part AMD CPU, so I'd say it's a socket and is removable (like the K53TA)
Try confirming again though, because I might be wrong. -

The A8-4500M/A10-4600M use a FS1r2 scoket. You should be able to swap APUs without any other implications.
Most Asus laptops do not have a "whitelist" and will accept a wide range of wireless cards (other than those shipped from the factory) provided you have the corresponding drivers/applications.
