I recently bought an Asus UX31A ultrabook and I realized this laptop has fan and heat issues. Any time the CPU temperature goes above 47 degrees the fans would kick in cooling it down back under 47, this process is on going and its very annoying. Simple browsing on the web causes the CPUs to rise in temperature dramatically. I've somewhat fixed this issue by installing Notebook Fan Control and it doesn't turn on the fan until the CPUs reach 65 degrees.

What I wanted to ask is if this is a safe temperature for the CPUs to operate in? Browsing on the web and especially going on YouTube make the CPUs hot and it isn't hard to reach the 65 degrees threshold. At the time of writing this post, the CPU temp is at 58 degrees.

Intel chips chips are specced to operate up to 90+ degrees continuously. You are completely fine for the processor.
The reason the temperature control is so aggressive on this ULV unit is primarily to protect the surrounding motherboard components near the CPU and within the chassis. Because everything is packed so close together in an ultrabook, inter-component heating is a real issue that can't be as easily mitigated by compartmentalization more commonly done on bigger notebooks.

Great news thanks for the reply. But what do you recommend I do? Should I use Notebook Fan Control and let it control the fan whenever the CPUs hit 65 degrees, or should I just do nothing and have the fans operate "normally" like how this laptop was designed?

Lol the temps your experiencing are normal... As long as its not 90C++ continously, you have nothing to worry about..
