    Hi everyone and thanks beforehand.

So here's the thing, i got an Asus n53SV with the non FHD screen, i know that the laptop supports FHD screens, because one of the variants has FHD.

So i got this spare Clevo/sager screen 15.6" FHD led backlit 60Hz screen LG LP156WF1 and was wondering if it would be compatible with the the asus.

My friend has tried himself, but it appears with some image glitches, horizontal lines etc etc.

the screen is perfectly fitted and the connections well established.

So i wanted to know, if anyone knows, would the screen be compatible, or might it be broken.

The screen is new so i would doubt the 2n option.

Also i tried finding on the asus site if there was aditional info on the laptop screen, however, the only help there, is that it has 15.6" and 1920x1080 res....

If anyone could give a hint would apreciate

    Anyone?

This is really bugging me, as i contacted other people that are familiar with these situations, and they said it should work aswell.

The screen should be working as it is brand new.

If anyone has any helpful thoughts, or info regarding the asus screen please step forward
