Hello,
I have noticed that for the last few weeks my asus n71 started to heat excessively, even during simple tasks (streaming 2 youtube wideos at once).
Usual temperature is now sth. about 73*C, when there is 23*C in my room.
During gaming, rendering etc. temperature rises above 80 degrees, up to 90 when havily loaded.
I decided to clean it up a little, and there is my problem. I cannot open the case, even when every visible screw is out (including these under the keyboard). Even the slot for additional DDR is holding strong, like it was glued, screwed from behind, or somehow latched.
Could You please explain me how to open it properly, without breaking any mounting elements ?
Photos of deattached laptop would be also helpful.
Best regards,
Karol.

I don't have experience on current Asus models but...
I looked briefly a youtube video and the silver strip between keyboard and display might be removable. It could lead you forwards? -
