    Both are 1.8GHz but which is better or are they both the same,

    cpuid reads both as Mobile TK-55

    The AMD TK-55 is a Mobile Athlon 64 processor. There is no Turion processor with the model number TK-55. So in this case, they are probably the same processors, with a typo in the name of the Turion.
