Ati Mobility Radeon HD 2700 Benchmarks?

anyone know any of the laptops that will be the amongst the first to feature this GPU? and how soon can we expect those benchmarks (looking to see how it performs in comparison with the nvidia 8700m)

 

Fujitsu Siemens Computers Amilo XI2550 have ATi HD2700 GPU, i have seen it in stores, but didnt see any reviews on it yet. I heard that HD2700 is just a HD2600XT with another name, but dont know if its true, but the FSC laptop are very nice. Its cheap, have blueray reader and fullHD screen. It would defenetly be popular if then would have started selling it for 2-3 mounth ago.

I saw somewhere on the web that the HD2700 has 120 stream processors bit only a 128 bit bus as opposed to the 8800 which as 96 processors but a 256 bit bus. So the HD2700 might bottle out at high resolutions because of the 128 bit bus but should run most if not all games at medium to settings easily , so it seems to be in between the 8700 and the 8800 so AMD/ATI have once again gone for a cheaper option to the 8800 . The Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo XI 2550 is available in Europe at around 1600 euros but not on the UK as of yet.

 

Just looked up reviews from notebook journal .de , translated from german.
Looks like the 256 of RAM and 128 bit bus limit it to around 3900 in 3dmark with the HD2600XT coming out better at over 4000 3dmarks . ATI say there is a HD2700XT coming out later which hopefully will put it at better performance than the 8700. So at the moment it seems a little better or the same as the 8600 GT according to www.notebookjournal.de

I just read that the HD3650 mobile has been released. hopefully we'll find that that is a superior GPU then either the HD2600 or HD2700...
