While watching the pictures of the Audigy 2 NX (USB) at the creative site I discovered a DC IN jack that goes unmentioned throughout the whole presentation. Does it get its juice from the USB or will it need an AC adapter of its own? If it does, then the advertisement is misleading as it NEVER mentions the need for an external power source which of course, hinders its mobility.

As I've understood it, Audigy 2 NX needs its own power supply. If you want to find true mobile sound solution for you laptop - go for Audigy 2 ZS Notebook, that's a PCMCIA card that has 2 ZS functionality and takes its power from the PCMCIA bus.
