    Hey all,
I've been hearing about the X-Fi coming for notebooks someday
but I was wondering if the Audigy 2 ZS is good enough for these 2.1 speakers as well as some decent earphones/headphones for gaming @ school?
The X-Fi will mainly benefit those who use 5.1/7.1 systems right?

Yes it will be fine - but remember that the X-Fi is ExpressCard and the Audigy 2ZS is PCMCIA...so if you only have PCMCIA, it doesn't matter if you wait for the X-Fi...you'll need to get the Audigy 2ZS or the Indigo DJ.

Well I believe that when compal refreshes the Hel 80's it'll have both PCMCIA and ExpressCard so I could get either.

and thanks I'll get the Audigy 2ZS for the lowered price from newegg.com
