I purchased an Avermedia TV tuner express card for my notebook directly from there web-site. Reception was terrible, and I returned the item withing the allowed period. The item has been in there possession for close to 3 weeks now, and I have not yet received my credit back to my AMEX. I e-mailed them and received no response. I called them, only to be placed on hold for 20+ minutes twice without anyone answering. I got so fed up that I finally just called AMEX, and disputing the transaction through them.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up. Buyer BEWARE.

hmmm it seems that their customer service department is really lacking and downright impolite.

but apparently most of those tv tuner company states that you cannot return a product because you've got bad reception.
