Yesterday i bought this HD decoder card from ebay based in the broadcom BCM970015 for my netbook emachines E355 series with a Atom N455, chipset NM10 and Intel 3150 and it doesn't work at all.

When i go to play a video file, any format, with the windows media player 12 or media player classic last version, it stills the computer and i have to force power off.

It's problem of the netbook or the card?

    thanks in advance.

I can't see any info on that mPCIe card, are you sure the model number is correct?

also, is it in a full mPCIe slot or only a usb based one, have you installed the broadcom crystal HD drivers?

Oh, sorry, it's the AW-VD9 20H, i edited the title.

I installed in the only mPCIe available of the netbook, where the wifi card was installed and it worked perfectly, so, i thinks it's a full slot. And, yeah, i installed the drivers from broadcom.com version 3.5.0 32 bits.

It stills even when i go to unnistall the software...

I don't know what is happening, but i will instal it in a acer 5750G for know if do the same.

    Thanks

EDIT: In the Acer 5750G works perfectly... (not cpu or gpu decoding, checked with the app of the card.)

UPDATE: I installed in another HDD a windows 7 x64 with only the essential, MB driver, graphics, directx, MPC HC and nothing, the same problem...

Like i said, the card works perfectly on the 5750G, so it's not a card problem...
