This doesn't seem to actually affect the burns in the end but I noticed that when I am burning it would flush the device buffer periodically. I know about the one that happens when it changes drive speed but these seemed to happen way too often. Any ideas? This is on Windows 7 RTM and I have AnyDVD installed but I did it with the program enabled and disabled. No effect. I would really like to keep this drive installed if I can.
EDIT: Just checked some of the ibg files that imgburn created using dvdinfopro and it seems to have been doing it since I got the drive. Here are some samples.
EDIT: Added one for my old dvd burner. This is what I expect...
EDIT: I swapped back in the old dvd burner. I'll just drop the blu-ray drive into an external enclosure.
