    Hi everyone,

I recently came across the following screen while playing a game (Virtual Skipper 5):

I have an Acer TravelMate 6000 with the following:
    Intel Pentium M 1.6Ghz
    Intel 855GME chipset (graphic card – 64Mb)
    1.21Gb of RAM
    FUJITSU MHV2080AH 75Gb hard drive
    Windows XP Pro

And while the minimum requirement for the game is:
    Pentium 4 1.6Ghz
    256 RAM
    32Mb graphic card

I still have that damn blue screen after I play for a bit. Because I can play but generally not more than 10-15minutes …
I upgrade my BIOS to the last known update but couldn’t find any caching/shadowing option to configure …
I updated my graphic card to the last known driver and still have that blue screen …

Also, although it says my graphic card has 64Mb, I can only put 8, 16 or 32Mb into the BIOS?

So I’m basically clueless on the whole matter since my laptop is working perfectly in any other situation and I really want to play that game!!!!!

    Cheers

Just to say that I partially solved the problem. All I had to do was to disable the sound into the properties of the game! I'm currently downloading the realtek ac'97 audio coded&driver but because of my connection (56k) I need to wait a bit before installing it!

Anyway, thanks for directing me in the right direction ;)!
I'll post again to say if the update solved the problem or not (once I installed it)!

    Cheers
