When you flash a computer bios, do not use a flashing utility which works through the operating system. Flash's are about 99% successful when done through a floppy and dos. Flash's can go wrong if run through the operating system, which could lead to the bricking of your laptop.

If you cannot get the bios to boot, you could have potentially destroyed your system.

Please download a bios update, an configure it to run from a bootable floppy.
This way you will be able to successfully mount a newer bios revision.

Also make sure, that the Bios is for the correct laptop, or desktop motherboard.

    Good Luck

I'm using Hiren's BootCD because I don't have a floppy on my laptop  You see I have Mitac 8224D notebook but once I gave it to the service for major reasons, when I got it back it was already flashed to the MaxSelect TravelBook FX45 system bios R1.06, I was trying to flash my notebook by Mitac system bios R1.07 for 8224D downloaded from MiTAC service page but nothing happend, I tryed to use different flash utilities but it didnt help, once it says that XMS Provider is installed othervise that unknown chipset or that Rom Image Loading to The Ram with no changes, only fing I can do is to flash my KBC bios but not system. I want back my Mitac system bios so what shuold I do?
