Would it be possible to take an E5400/E5500/E6400/E6500 backlit keyboard, and use it in a D630?

It looks like it should fit, but I want to double check before I try and order one from Dell.

    Won't work.

Simply put, they're different keyboards. Take a look at the service manuals for the D630/E6400 and you'll see what I mean. The layouts might be similar, but that's about it.
