    Hi everybody,

My notebook screen is very dim since a couple of weeks. It's only two years olds. I wondered if it the inverter could be the problem. I'm also hearing a strange noise coming from my notebook. When I turn down the remaining brightness, the noise stops, and when I turn it on again, I can hear it again.

Im not positive, but if it is very dim, it sounds like the Screen's Backlight to me.
