    Battery charge

    Hello,

    when I use my computer if the battery become empty, what is better:

    to shut off the computer then charge the battery or to simply plug the ac while

    in use ?

    I don't think it matters other than maybe charge faster but have doubts. But have to ask why is your battery running to empty when from your question there is a power source available?

    It doesn't really matter which you choose. However, Lithium Ion batteries are don't particularly like fast charges, so if there was any reason to pick one over the other, then it would be for that. However, the its a very small reason, and you won't do any harm to the battery by choosing the first option.

    I'd say do whatever, if you need to charge the battery and use the computer, use it. doesnt really matter

    As mentioned you can do either. It will charge faster if you're not using the notebook at the time, of course.
