My Vostro 1500 battery charger all of the sudden is no longer charging...the little green light doesn't light up anymore when it is plugged into the wall, and if it is plugged in, it has a very faint beeping sound...

Is this the end of the road for my 3-month old charger?

If so...can anyone suggest a place to shop for a new charger?

    Thanks all

Are all the connections in tight? Have you tried another plug?

i've tried all of the outlets in my house...but nothing doing.

I have unplugged the middle connection and replugged it and its not doing anything. it seems as though it is toast?

    It seems so.
I don't know what would have caused it though.

Jeez, it's weird you posted this. Last night the same thing happened to my toshiba - all of a sudden it kept making this little beep every 30 sec. I noticed the battery was completely drained - but it was plugged in! The battery light was out too. I unplugged and plugged in the connector at the back, and the battery light turned orange and it began to charge. Must've be a bit of a loose connection. It sounds though in your case the charger itself might be faulty. At least you have a warranty left though!

Oddly enough, my Vostro 1500 charger is doing the EXACT same thing. Hard drive died in it last week as well. These things don't seem very well made :(

mtnboydl - What was the outcome with yours? Did you have to get a replacement from Dell?
