So I asked in the Lenovo forum and everyone seems to lack and I just rallied more confused people! Anyways, I want to know how I'm supposed to configure thresholds on my laptop battery? I keep seeing that laptops have limited number of cycles but I was wondering, why are people setting their thresholds from 36% to 40%? If thats one charge/discharge cycle, won't that, theoretically, ruin the battery sooner? Right now I'm just draining the battery to 15% and charging it up to 100% even when I'm near an outlet. Should I continue doing that?

There's always been a healthy debate as to what will make your battery last longer. I usually run mine down to about %20 and my battery is just as good as the day I got it last November.
