I bought a used Toshiba M700 Tablet PC about a month ago. At first, the battery would last about 1.5 hours and now I only get about 30 minutes. In the meantime, I ordered a brand new battery. That battery gave me about 3 hours and, only after two weeks, only gives me about 15 minutes! I am using the best power management settings and have the lcd display at half brightness when on battery. I used the laptop until the "low battery" message appears and then charge it up again.
Is there something that I'm missing here? Why are my batteries draining so fast?

Did you buy a cheapo knock off battery? Those die very fast.

Your battery might be nearly dead and/or you may have too many processes running... -
battery's worn out most likely... really that's the only problem i can think of....
