    Hey there, guys. I'm looking to buy a Dell XPS m1530 from the Dell Outlet store this week (I'm waiting to see if they will have another percent off coupon for refurbished models). I was wondering if you could tell me of places where I can get an affordable 9-cell battery for this computer. I see some great deals with the 6-cell included, so I figured I could use the 6-cell around campus, and the 9-cell when I'm on longer trips (both if I'm on a real long trip). They had one for $90 for an eBay auction, but that unfortunately ended about 5 hours ago.

    Any help would be much appreciated. :D

    I would suggest the 9 cell only. I got 13 months out of my 6 cell, YMMV. Any new battery from dell has 1 year warranty, period.

    I found my Dell branded 9 cell on e-bay for $60, fresh stock but only 90 day warranty. This has been doing fine the last 5 months.

    Lol, well, since I am already getting it on the cheap, I figured that having two batteries might be a pretty good idea. I'll keep looking, however, and if you guys find anything yourself, let me know! :)
