What is the healthiest solution to battery maintenance?
a. charging and discharging often,
b. not discharging as much as possible, or
c. none of the above (explain)
I am getting a laptop with a 9-cell battery, so I want to take good care of it for the 3+ years I'm going to use the laptop.

a. That is correct, charging and discharching often is very healthy for the battery.
b. That is incorrect.
c. Only a is true.
Some golden tips:
1. NEVER, I say NEVER plug in the adapter first. Always be sure you plug in the notebook first, then via the plugger. Sorry for my bad english, but I want to say that you first must plug in your notebook and then to the wall.
2. Charge and discharge your notebook often.
3. If you are going to vacation or something, charge your notebook to its 2/3 (66%) and put it in the refrigerator. I heard that thats the best way to keep your notebook adapter safe.
4. Never, once again I say NEVER let your adapter stay in the sun. That is lethal for the adapter, so also for you adapter I tell you!
