    Battery not working!

    Hi All,

    I just bought a new battery for my HP pavilion ze1000 notebook. The battery model is the same as my previous battery (HP F4486B). However, the notebook doesn't boot when I put the new battery in. It boots when I put it on just AC (i.e. without any battery) but if I put the new battery, then it refuses to boot even if the power is connected. Also, the new battery is able to power the LEDs on the keyboard and I can also hear the fan turn on, yet the notebook refuses to boot.

    Does anyone know what the problem might be?
