is it ok to pull the battery out of the laptop and just run it on the adaptor when you are at home? will that affect the laptop in anyway?

I leave mine in all the time. I've had this laptop for a year and a half. It has a 6 cell battery and still gets over 3 hours on wireless. Maybe 10-15 minutes less than when it was brand new. ;)
