Hi my HP Zt3300's battery wear level is at 0%...Iam not sure what that means...can anyone enlighten me? Is it time for a new battery? Could that be the problem why my laptop would not charge sometimes or maybe is that the problem with the motherboard? Cause thats why iam asking this question cause my laptopo would sometimes not charge, i would have to bend the cord a little to get it to charge and hope i dont move it otherwise i lose the charge status.
-Thanks ahead of time.

A wear level of 0% means that the battery thinks it is 100% OK and lost 0% capacity.
If you have reason to doubt this information then you can look in the BIOS for a battery calibration function and then run it (it will take several hours). This will measure the power used before the battery is drained and then adjust the actual capacity.

what you're describing sounds more like a problem with the your ac adapter port. is your connector the circular kind with the pins inside? those types of connections seem to ahve a lot of problems as that was the reason for my last notebook's demise.

yeah it is the circular kind with the pin inside...it has burnt out two of my power plugs...so yeah iam sure thats the problem (the connector messing u) anyone know what laptops have these problems, so i can avoid them at all costs...i already know im not gonna go with HP again since 3 of my friends have HP laptops, not the same model but has the same problem with the power connector failing on them. Iam the last one of my friends whose laptop is surviving through the pain of on and off charging ( i was the first one to get it).
-Thanks
