Hi, I just want to know how big the difference is in performance between the 5870 and the 5650.

    Thanks.

More than 100% improvement across the board (double shader count, GDDR5 memory doubles bandwidth, faster clocks), particularly in high resolution and/or high setting GPU demanding games. Each game scales differently so it would help if you specify what games you will be playing and at what resolution/settings.

Actually becnhmarks wise and gaming wise , the 5870 is about 350%-400% better than the 5650... they're 2 different catagories... and u can't compare them.

Wow, can the 5730 compete with the 5870? How much better is the 5730 than the 5650?

the 5730 is a slightly overclocked 5650... so it really can't compete..
