    So far I've seen a few reviews on the WD reporting some good things and others have had DOA issues. Lacie also has a 1tb w/ FW but i haven't really heard much about it

    I would try and steer you away from Buffalo terastations, they are pretty unreliable. We bought two of them for my company, and we lost both to raid and hard drive failure within 6 months
