I need to buy a notebook pc for work. I'm a currency trader so I need to display up to 8 charts that are updated in real time. I'm considering two offerings from Sager:

1)The NP9262 with either the E6850 or Q6600 Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad processors respectively.

    or...

    2)The NP5792 with the Penryn Core 2 Duo T9500.

Basically when I get these laptops configured the way I'd like to buy either of them they are priced around $3200. (I need advice on which one to buy so please give me your two bits at my other thread here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=206464)

I keep hearing all this hype about Penryn processors. I'm no techy at all but I just see a slower FSB speed (800MHz) and clock (2.6GHz) on the T9500 than the other options on the 9262.

Can someone clarify for me which of these three choices is more advanced, or more suitable for tasks requireing lots of resources? Are the E series processors older than the T series? If so why the faster bus speeds?

I've done some research on the E6850 and Q6600 and opinions seem to be divided on which is better for various tasks. I'm also considering splurgin on the Q6700 but I'm unsure about spending the extra $275 over and above the Q6600. I'd really like to know how these fairly equal processors compare to the T9500 though.

Some of the opinions for the E6850 over the Q6600 are due to the shortage of multithreading applications. But will the four cores help when running my charts or will video card/ram be more important?

I've read the sticky on CPU's and hope that this thread isn't agrovating anyone.
