    Hi Guys and Gals,

I am going to soon be buying a laptop and am leaning towards:

    A) Blade 15 2080 Max Q

    B) Waiting for the Ampere 2080 replacement in the Blade 15

    C) Going for option A but adding a Core X Chroma when Ampere comes out

Anyway, whenever the time is right and the daddy of desktop monitors comes out that I can connect to my laptop, I am ready to buy it. So what is the most exciting screen coming this year. My use of the screen in order of importance:
    1) Gaming (FPS mostly, followed by strategy games like Company of Heroes 1/2, then titles like Witcher etc)

    2) Work (excel, outlook, web browser etc)

Watching movies etc isn’t needed at all.

    Thanks

You can make a list of each Screen specs and compared them side by side and you will what you want and how much your willing to pay for them. If your going for 144 screen expect to burn a hole in your wallet. Also the size of the screen will cost more as you get bigger like 17" will be very expense because of it size and the higher specs is runs at.

    Thanks for the reply!

To be clear this is for a desktop screen to connect to my laptop when at home.

Budget isn’t a big concern. I am tempted by the Samsung 49” but the refresh rate is too low and I am not sure if ultra wide is good for FPS.
