    hey guys,
im looking for a lcd monitor with at least 2 hdmi in ports.
ive seen the alienware 21.5 inch with 2 ports for $300.
    http://www.alienware.com/accessories/gear-shop-Detail.aspx?ItemId=17567&CatId=1441
is this a good deal? (im not an expert on monitors ha)

what are some of yalls suggestions for an lcd at least 22inches and larger
    for preferably around $250?
and any suggestions with only 1 hdmi port will be accepted as well.

    thanks

There's a ton of info behind on what kind of LCD monitor to buy, but I can somewhat simplify it for you.

    Size:
This is really up to you. But remember that Inches != Resolution. I would look at both resolutions and inches. For example: a 21" and a 22" may both have 1680x1050 resolution. What this means is that even though 22" is bigger, you are seeing the same amount on both.

    Quality:
This is pretty simple. All you have to look at is the panel type of the monitor. This is the order of quality, S-IPS>S-PVA>TN. Judging by your budget though, it looks like your in the market for a TN, maybe S-PVA.

    Brand:
Dell, HP, Samsung, a few others I can't think of right now.

    Connections:
Not sure why you need 2 HDMI's because few monitors have this. If you need 2 HDMI all you would need to do is get a monitor that has more than 1 digital connection. For example displayport and DVI are both digital. They both can be converted to HDMI.

Then just get a monitor. The sell for around $300
I'm not sure what you mean here. The quality of your monitor will be the limit to the resolution you get.

All TV's are monitors and none have two HDMI. If you need more than one, get a switcher or a receiver.

DVI is a digital connection for a monitor. Just like HDMI or displayport.

HD refers to the resolution that the LCD can display. Anything higher than 480p(DVD quality) is considered HD.

These are just connections, there are no conversions going on. If you want to use your X360 with an LCD, you would connect to the monitor through HDMI.

If you want to watch cable tv on your lcd monitor, you need to buy a monitor with a built in tuner. They are normally called LCD TVs for computers.

Or just TVs. Nowadays, ALL TVs are monitors.

UPDATE: You might find this monitor fits your criteria (it has two HDMI!), albeit at a premium price:
