Umm there is no one best looking laptop. Also, people have different opinions. So not everyone is gonna agree one the same exact laptop.

How bout go around to stores and look at the laptops they have on display and see which one you like. Or go through the laptop reviews on this very site and see which one you like, not which one we think is the best.

It's highly opinionated, but I like the understated looks of IBM ThinkPads or HP-Compaq buisness notebooks. If you want to stand out the Asus G1s and G2s are the ones. The MSI M677 crystal edition is also pretty cool.

The Asus V1Jp and LG S1 are candidates.

I think Clevo models (like the Sager 5760) look great!

Looks are not important, what is inside the laptop is the important thing.

Different people have different priosirites. Looks might not be important to you but they could be very important to someone else.
He's only asking for what we think is the best looking laptop, he doesn't want to be told that looks aren't important.

"Best looking" is very subjective. I recommend you go around and look at different laptops. Several laptops that have struck me as very attractive have been:

    -Any Asus laptop in the V or W series (V1Jp, V2Je, W3J, W2PB, W5F, etc.)
-Any HP Pavilion entertainment laptop (dv6500t, dv2500t, dv9500t)
-Any Apple Macbook (Macbook, Macbook Pro)
    -Sony VAIOs
    -LG S1

VAIO C series are too thick for my tastes. Something like an SZ epitomizes a 13.3" laptop better, in my opinion.

I like the Sony Vaio SZ series and I like the mac line of notebooks, those are very stylish. If a laptop company could imitate mac's looks I would be so happy.

    heres my opinion:

sony sz, and also the 17" one
    fujitsu Q2010 and P7230
    asus W5F and S6F
Mac, basically all fo them are nice
    IBM/lenovo thinkpad x60

I tend to try to stay away most of the "grey color" because they are too common and doesn't make your laptop looks any different. though few exceptions are the mac platinum looks and sony sz series still nice.

So I prefer notebooks that have different color, a full black or white, since those are classic colors. Metal looks is a plus makes looks nicer than a cheap plastic. IBM seems plain non stylish but its got that professional look. I personally like the asus s6f because of optional color customize and + the leather, kills the sony tx series.

Size does matters too, nothing can go wrong with a thinnest notebook fujitsu Q2010. thick, bulky notebooks + heavy just makes computer looks like a piece of rock. But then most manufacturers makes most 17" notebook looks nice too.

If you're gonna be some businessman/woman wearing a dark black suit youre likely to gonna be going into IBM/lenovo.

If you're a girl who wanna look like barbie I guess you're gonna look for pink laptops.

if you are the modern art type you're likely to like asus brand.

if you are more into fashion like, mac is more of interest

or how about a fetish or into a bit of freaky stuff, voodoo laptops/alienware :D
