Here is an attempt to compile a list of the top end "mobile workstations" in each category. This is primarily determined by the highest card they can carry.

Categories: 20", 17", 15", 12", others? There could be a distinction between 16:9 and 4:3, but standard layout is dieing anyway.

    Layout

    Size - Card (Company Model)

    Quadro Fx

    20" - 2500M (Eurocom Emperor)

    19" - 2500M (Eurocom Emperor)

    17" - 3600M (Dell 6300, HP 8710w)

    15" - 570M (Fujitsu H250, HP 8510w, ThinkPad T61p)

    14" - 570M (ThinkPad T61p)

    FireGL

    17" - ???

    15" - V5250 (ThinkPad T60p)

    14" - V5250 (ThinkPad T60p)

*I will update this as more information is added (or corrected)

The best Quadro card for a 15" laptop is definitely the 570m.

You can find a list of the mobile workstations here:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=80145

Other than that, the 17" Clevo D910C and M571RU could have the FX 1600M and probably the 3600M at same point. Also, the Alienware M9750 with the FX 1600M.

    That's about it.

For most people, that would make this thread superfulous...

However, this list could still be useful: that thread focuses on the power of each card, this thread focuses on best-in-class by models.
