    So which one is it? I'm looking to swap out my 80 GB 7200 RPM Drive. Looking for something under $400. Not sure I'll get anything?

    Intel SSDs exceed his budget. Patriot SSDs is the best you can get for that price, but it's a hit or miss. $170 in the States BTW.

    SSD's are way too expensive, and they are not really made out to what they are supposed to be. Mechanical drives are still the way to go, since they offer much greater bang for the buck, and they actually last longer. SSD manufacturers state that their drives will last however long, but a few friends of mine have complained about ther $2000+ SSD's burning out after a few weeks of use. Luckily I never jumped on that bandwagon, and decided to stay with mechanical drives ;)
