So after my sad, sad Asus G51vx-rx05 broke (well not really, I sent it in for repair with Asus, good excuse to buy new desktop :)) I may sell this whole or part it out when it comes back.

I just purchased the i7 and the Biostar TZ68A+ so far. I saw at Fry's there was the Patriot G sector 5 ddr3 4gb pc3-16000 at 2000mhz for $20 bucks after rebate. I checked on the website of BioStar and it did now show under their memory support. Does that mean it will not work? I thought all ram will work as long as it supports the speed and or ddr3? Or what do you guys recommend for the price range? TIA

Please post this question on our sister site, Desktop Review. Registration may be required, but feel free to use the same user name and whatnot over there. The only thing we are going to say on this topic applies to notebooks as well: generally speaking, better RAM speeds and lower latencies have little impact, if any, on the overall computing experience. Just get a good brand of 1.5V DDR3 RAM with a lifetime warranty (good: Corsair, Crucial, Kingston. bad: OCZ, G.Skill. any others are probably ok but read carefully).
