Is there a particular screw driver set that's best suited for notebooks? I've been using a fairly ordinary philips but i'm getting weary of stripping those tiny screws.

    thanks

Go to Lowes and pick up an 8-in-1 precision screwdriver.

I just use one of those $1 kits that you see at Dollarama. Works perfectly fine for most of the screws. It's really just a matter of using the right head, most just grab one and use that all the way through when it isn't the best way.

Craftsman makes a nice precision set. As an added suggestion you will also want to invest in some kind of small plastic rod for prying, forceps (I have plastic and metal), magnet, mini-maglite. Then there are the consumables: q-tips, cotton swabs, etc. And don't forget the anti-static wristband. If you want to expand out, finding a good torx set is a nice addition.

An old credit card is also useful for pushing apart plastic components, such as the palmrest from the rest of the chassis. This way, the plastic does not get damaged.
