My 6930p came with a 160go/7200rpm hard drive. While it's quite snappy, 160go is not enough for my uses.

For around 50-53€, I can get either :
    - Samsung SpinPoint M7 - 320 Go (HM320II)
    - Toshiba MK3265GSX - 320 Go
    - Western Digital Scorpio Blue - 320 Go (WD3200BEVT)
    - Samsung SpinPoint M7 Enhanced - 320 Go (HM321HI)

Is one of these a better buy than the others ? Thanks for any comment.

I think the WD3200BEVT is the best out of those.

I agree with you all on the WD3200BEVT
but I recommend getting the WD3200BE KT, which should have a greater improvement in performance since it is a 7200rpm drive

No love for the Samsung, then ? I guess I'll go with the WD. Sadly, the scorpio black is a bit too expensive for now. When finances will allow, I might go for a 64go ssd+320go in the upgrade bay.

    Thanks all.

Finally went for a WD5000BEVT (a 00A0RT0, the ones with 320gb platters). 500go for 61€ seemed ok. It feels marginally faster than the seagate 160gb 7200.3 it replaced (boot is faster by a few seconds at least).
