The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I like the Surface Book screens. I think the Retina is nice but a waste on an underpowered notebook. I havnt had a QHD or UHD on the dells, but they use IGZO displays?

    I think the AW13 OLED is the ducks nuts, but outside the Samsung 2n1s its the only OLED.

    My main perspective for a nice screen is multimedia, ie Movies in 4k.

    Are any of the OEMs doing HDR yet in the LCD screens?
