Looking for the fastest mSSD I can afford which is about $150, I will pay $250 if it is worth it but I rather not. Using this for a OS Boot drive and a couple programs. Will have massive storage in main bays for all other. Anything but OCZ.

Mushkin Atlas & Crucial M4 are two mSATA's that have gotten great reviews. The Mushkin uses the Sandforce controller, and the Crucial uses the Marvell controller.

The Mushkin Atlas is available in 120 & 240 GB capacities, and the Crucial M4 in 128 & 256 GB.

Based on benchmarks from reviews, the Mushkin is a bit faster, but the Crucial has slightly higher capacity and is a bit cheaper.

There is also the Samsung PM830 that is the mSATA version of the Samsung 830.

As of right now there are no US retailers that have the PM830 mSATA. They are only currently available to OEM's, and a few shops in Germany who only ship them to the European Union.

If you live in the US, and dont have a friend there who will pick one up and ship it to you, you're out of luck for now.
