just got my asus a8js and i plan on leaving this thing on for hours, and i was wondering whatthe hebst notebook cooler is for mine?
-
i have yet to find a flat notebook cooler that actually does an adequate job.
You see, all laps are solidly flat on the bottom and the fans would just be deflected and any cooling would be useless.
But i have a friend who had an ingenious idea which was to remove the plates that covered the ram bays and HD.
And he added little button sized velcro to the plates for easy replacement instead of having to carry a lil screwdriver around.
If youre not prepared to remove the plates then those lap coolers are pretty well a waste on money -
Have a look at the guide to cooling down your notebook.
There are a couple of notebook coolers in that topic. -
pacific breeze is a good one.

im thinking of getting the one you have myth the zalman, hmm but i hear alot about having a laptop cooler is useless
-
myth? or anyone else that has the zalman

I own the Zalman NC2000, I actually wrote a review and to some yes a cooler may be useless but I love it. It drops temps allowing for more overclocking room or longer lifespan of the notebook.
