Hey all,
Been thinking about upgrading to a SSD lately, since having a regular HDD made me think that year 2011 technology wasnt much of an improvement over my dinodesktop and dinolaptop, due to the slow windows bootup times...
Any good SSDs out there that are sub-$125 and can take advantage of the SATA III (aka 3.0 or SATA 6gb/s according to wikipedia) capability of the m17xR3?
Thank you!

$125 you're looking at a 60-64GB SSD especially if SATA III. That should be plenty for Windows and apps, but not much room left for a whole lot more.
To be honest, most of the transfers that take advantage of the 6Gbps speed are sequential data reads and writes, and for an OS drive primarily you'll be using smaller data chunks, and 4k read/write performance is probably more important so any SATA II drive would be fine too.
