    Pea, cross, spread or any other methods...which one is the best method?

    Also, apply the same method on both CPU+GPU or different methods?

    doesn't matter, has been tested million times, just use whatever method you like best. I spread it so it leaves the least amount mess behind.

    All will suck to some degree if the heatsink is not aligned properly first.

    Not that I use much paste anymore but I used to use a line for rectangular dies and cross for squareish ones.
